Parking at Aeroparque (AEP): Rates, Long Stay and Booking

Aeroparque has two car parks: a short-stay one charging by the hour and a long-stay one sold in blocks of 4, 7, 10 or 14 days, where booking online cuts the price by 40%. Long-stay needs a reservation at least 24 hours ahead. As of 2026 the rates below are the officially published ones, dated March 2026.

How does parking at Aeroparque work?

Two car parks, two completely different pricing models, and picking the wrong one is what makes people's bills look absurd.

The north car park is short-stay and meters you by the hour — right for drop-offs, pick-ups and a few hours' wait. The south car park is long-stay and sold as a package of days, which is the only sensible choice if you are leaving the car while you fly. Park a week in the hourly one and the arithmetic turns punishing.

What does it cost?

These are the published rates, last updated on 2 March 2026. Argentine prices move with inflation, so treat them as the shape of the pricing rather than a quote, and confirm on the official airport store before you travel.

Passenger motorcycles park free. The 40% online discount applies to the 7, 10 and 14-day blocks, and there is also a 20% reduction available in some cases when you pay digitally. None of that is automatic — it depends on booking through the right channel.

Why book online, and how far ahead?

Because the difference is 40%, which is not a rounding error. On a ten-day stay that is the gap between the counter price and roughly six-tenths of it — the single biggest saving available on this page.

The catch is the deadline. Long-stay spaces require a reservation made at least 24 hours in advance through the official Aeropuertos Argentina store. Turn up on the day expecting the discounted rate and you will not get it. Book when you book your flight, not when you leave for the airport.

Is parking cheaper than just taking a transfer?

Do this sum before you drive. Take the ten-day online rate: at the mid-2026 order of magnitude of roughly 1,500 pesos to the dollar, AR$ 450,000 lands somewhere around USD 300. A return trip by taxi or private transfer costs a fraction of that, even before you count the fuel and tolls of driving yourself.

So for anything beyond a few days, leaving the car at home is usually the cheaper answer, and it removes the risk of coming back to a bill you did not expect. Parking earns its place for short stays, odd hours, or when you are driving in from outside the city and there is no practical alternative. Are there cheaper car parks outside the airport?

Yes. Independent long-stay operators sit a few kilometres from the terminal and run a free shuttle to the door, typically with covered spaces and round-the-clock security. The trade is time: you add a shuttle leg at both ends of your trip in exchange for a lower daily rate.

Worth it on a two-week stay, rarely worth it on a two-day one. Check the shuttle's hours against your flight times before booking — an early departure or a late arrival is exactly when an off-site shuttle can let you down.

What about parking at Ezeiza instead?

Different airport, different situation, so do not assume the rates carry over. Ezeiza is the international airport roughly 47 km away, and it has its own car parks and its own tariff; our Ezeiza parking page covers those.

Where do you park to collect someone?

Use the north car park and keep it short. Arrival times drift, so the hourly meter is running while you wait for a flight that may be late — check the board before you leave home rather than paying to wait at the kerb.

Stopping on the access roads instead is not a plan; it is restricted, and the airport sits on a busy stretch of the costanera. If the inbound flight is badly delayed, the cheaper move is to leave and come back.

How do you pay?

Card and digital payment are the norm, and digital payment is where the extra discount appears in some cases. Keep the entry ticket safe — losing it typically means being charged a maximum rate rather than what you actually owe.

What should you check before booking?

Four things, in order. Confirm today's tariff on the official store, because the figures above carry a March 2026 date and pesos do not stand still. Book the long-stay block at least 24 hours ahead to get the online price. Match the block length to your actual return date, since overstaying a package is where costs jump. And photograph where you left the car, because the long-stay area is large and a fortnight is long enough to forget.
